SE-6000 Series

Standard Components -

Shower head; CYCOLAC

® yellow 8" diameter (SE 870).

Shower valve: Stay-open 1" NPTF bronze ball valve. Shower jacket: 3" PVC.

Painted safety green. Supply pipe: 1" NPTM galvanized steel pipe.

Eye/face wash: Twin spray heads with flow control and balance control screw. Eye/face wash valve: Stay-open 1/2" NPTF bronze ball valve. Heating tape: Self-limiting parallel resistance cable with braided metal shield. Thermostat: preset, hermetically sealed single pole contact switch. Temperature range: 60° to 70°F. Insulation: Injected polyurethane foam and high density, closed cell insulation. Pilot light: .025 watt red light with push test button. Lights when thermostat closed and heating tape is activated.

Junction box: NEMA 4X water tight, dust tight, and corrosion resistant for indoor or outdoor locations. Power supply: 120 VAC, 60 cycle, single phase. Units can be hard wired from the top. Power consumption: (minimum 15 AMP breaker) Wattage varies. Freezing temperatures: Operates at temperatures as low as -50°F. Assembly: All models are shipped completely assembled and ready to install. A 120 volt power supply and piped source of potable water are needed. Round-fault protection: GFPD's with a nominal 30 milliampere trip level is needed. Optional overhead area light: 69 watt light with clear globe is available on certain models to locate the unit and indicate electric power is on. Red, green, and blue globes are available as custom orders upon request. Hazardous location: Optional models are available to meet hazardous location requirements (Class I, Division 2).

• SE-6000 - Stanchion is mounted on cast floor flange with 1" NPTM water supply inlet 12" from mounting surface.
• SE-6100 - Stanchion is similar to SE-6000 except that it is designed to make use of an underground water supply line. Water supply inlet (1" NPTM) is at bottom of stanchion.
• SE-6400 - Stanchion is designed to be fed by a water supply line through the wall from above.
